Pearl Rice Balls

Just saying the name of this dish is fun! This traditional dim-sum technique I first saw in a Chinese market in Guangzhou. It’s amazing to see people’s eyes when you serve it to them for the first time.

Lamb Dumplings

One of my all time top five fave recipes. These are insanely addictive and versions of this dish are served all over Mongolia although most are made with mutton that is nearly decomposing with rot and with fermented mare’s milk instead of yogurt. You will surely find this recipe a little more accessible.

Asian Cabbage Slaw

Perfect side dish for a bbq. I love this topped on my Tongue-in-Cheek Juicy Deucey.

Drunken Prawns

Be sure to use a good quality sake you'd like to sip on when you marinate the shrimp.  like wine, don't use something you wouldn't drink.

Soba Noodles and Tensryu Sauce

I love eating cool and refreshing zaru-soba in the warm weather months, and I have included my favorite hot noodle recipe as well. Making them requires having a few pantry items like dashi, (bonito and kelp stock) on hand. Any of the specialty items can be obtained at your local Asian market.
