In a world where local food is in the spolight, Wired has a piece about eating pigeon. This is something to seriously consider and it really isn't as odd as you'd think. Squab is a fine dining delicacy in restaurants, why not in our own backyards?

Find Out Where Your Food Comes From
There's a lot of talk about where food comes from and a general anxiety that goes with it. Easy to do is go to your local farmer's market and talk to the farmer who grew your produce, but what if you live in a place like Minnesota, like me? Farmer's markets get scarce in the winter months. Culinate links to a commodity calculater that will show you where your produce is coming from in case you are curious.
