Well hello all. My name is Tyler and I am new to this site. I love Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern so I thought why not join his website. Well I live here in Bend Oregon andI am dying to break out of this routine when it comes to what I eat. I am so tired of tex-mex food and fast food joints. I want to enjoy the smell of fresh ingredients and be proud of whats on my plate. I just lose myself watching the food and travel channel and I just wish that I was right there along Andrew traveling the world and eating all the things he eats. I want to get recipes from all you and suggestions on what I should try and where I can find it. Also I am going on a trip to San Francisco this May and I am wanting to know where I should go to get some bizarre food. I would really love to try like duck or goose intestines but where do I find these? Well everyone I hope to meet some very cool people on this site and maybe I will even be able to talk to Andrew some day? |

Good for You!
Getting out of your food comfort zone is a hard thing for lots of people, so good for you! Instead of going out all of the time trying cooking a lot more for yourself. You can do all the experimenting you want then and learn tons about food. California is a great place to try some new things. Don't be overly disappointed if you can't eat like Andrew though
at least not right away. Good luck!
