Grandmamom's Fridge free Sugar CookiesDescriptionOur most requested cookie recipe, we make THOUSANDS of cookies every christmas and give mixed trays as gifts, this by far is our most requested recipe, the added bonus is that this is one of the only sugar cookie recipes that can be rolled out right away, no need to chill before rolling and cutting (Unless of course its august and you dont have AC, but then you probably dont want to be baking anyway...)
Ingredients
Instructions1. Cream Butter and Sugar, add beaten egg, water and Vanilla
2. Sift flour, Cream of tartar, baking soda and salt 3. Mix and roll out to 1/4-1/2 in thickness 4. cut with cookie cutters 5. bake on ungreased cookie Sheets at 400 degrees for 5-8 mins or until lightly browned NotesIce with Powdered sugar Icing (I will post the one we use for this also)
