It’s National Sandwich Day

Here’s a completely unnecessary, fabricated holiday I can certainly stand behind. Serious Eats, God bless ‘em, put together a list of some of the best sammies in the country. Esquire Magazine thinks these are the best in the country, and I love the pastrami at the Carnegie Deli.

So tell me: Who makes your favorite sandwich?

We make um better in the south.

The best turkey sandwich I ever have had the pleasure to stick in my mouth has to come from a little resturant outside birmingham, AL called Bates. Yes the same Bates that will give a turkey to our mister obama come thanksgiving. If you want the glorious experiance of an amazing turkey sandwich I suggest Bates. Oh and you have to get extra pickels trust me.
