Bruschetta 101

Description

Quick, easy and always a crowd pleaser.  Serve with olive tapenade, fresh diced tomoatos and basil or a good soft cheese to spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf italian sesame semolina bread, or your favorite artisan country bread loaf, sliced
  • 2 clv cloves garlic
  • 0.5 c extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

Mince the garlic and add to the oil
Brush the bread slices on both sides with the oil.
If you like you can cut slices into pieces roughly 2 inches square.
Grill both sides of bread slices over medium direct heat until well ‘toasted’.
Reserve for making bruschetta.
